The Pinzon Pasta Maker Machine is a good all round Budget Pasta Maker. It is a great starter machine for those new to the art of homemade pasta creation, or those that need their machine only rarely. As it has a capacity for only 5.1″ wide pasta sheets it is much more easy to handle than some of the bulkier machines.

It is constructed of stainless steel which is of course very well lasting, and simply clamps easily to the counter top for stability. As this is a low priced pasta maker it does not come with a wealth of cutters. But since many of those end up rarely used I would not worry too much. After all fine spaghetti and medium thick fettuccine are taken care of. And of course you can easily cut by hand those smooth sheets into ravioli, lasagna, stacci and much more yourself.

For anyone new to pasta making it makes little sense to spend a fortune till you know whether it is a skill you enjoy or not. That being said there are some simply terrible cheap machines out there that will do nothing more than put you off homemade pasta for life. The Pinzon is not one of them! This little machine does have its faults. If you need cutters and larger dough sheets this is not the model for you.
